The Valley of Kidron

To the east of Jerusalem, between the city and the Mount of Olives lies the Kidron Valley.  Today it is mostly composed of a cemetery.  The Kidron Valley is a valley of tears, a place where Jesus wept over the city because the people in it didn’t recognize and receive him as the Messiah.  Where have we missed how God is coming to us?  Where do our expectations collide with the Kingdom of God?
