God expands his Kingdom even through our routine spiritual practices, like going to church each Sunday. “As was his custom, Paul went into the synagogue…”. It was through his weekly habit of worship with God’s people that Paul was able to reach a number of people with the gospel. Some are called to go to Africa as a missionary, but most of us are called to go to church faithfully each week to study God’s word, and reach the people right around us. Today we honor Mothers, and we are especially grateful for those who taught us the significance of weekly worship and discipleship in a faith-filled community.
