The Church in Sardis

From the outside, Sardis looked great, high on a mountain and invincible. But in reality, Sardis was complacent and spiritually dead. Pride had crept in, making them appear bigger and better, but destroyed their heart for Christ. In their busy work, the real work of God was left undone. This was their wake-up call from Jesus. Where has pride crept in for us? Where does the church need a wake-up call today from Jesus?
