The Church in Pergamum

Set high on a mountain, Pergamum, like Washington DC, was the center of political power in its day. It was also an evil city, "where Satan has his throne." Faced with the world's allures of power, pleasures, wealth, and health, some in the church were giving in to the temptation to go along with the crowd. How can we remain strong when culture presses us to conform?
