Present and Personal

Jesus is Immanuel, God with us. He has come to us in the incarnation and continues to be

present with us through his Spirit. Jesus is also very personal and active in our lives, leading,

transforming, and empowering us to serve. When we become more alert to his presence and

his voice, we see him at work in our daily interactions and even our schedules. We become

awake to his Spirit transforming our very lives and the lives of others. The Lord is near. Draw

close to him.
