Ascended and Sustaining the Universe

Where is Jesus now? We learn from Scripture that Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father.  His mission of salvation is accomplished, death and hell are defeated, and now, Jesus is glorified for ever more. He is alive right now and is in control of the heavens and the earth. Jesus is sustaining the universe by the power of his word. In spite of how bleak or chaotic or uncertain life may seem, Jesus’ sovereign plan and purposes will prevail. So when we turn our eyes upon Jesus and see our life from his eternal perspective, things look much differently. “Set your minds on things above, not earthly things.”  Worship him.
