The Miracle of Incarnation

While the gift of a baby being born happens about 10,267 times a day in the US, the baby that we celebrate on Christmas was no ordinary child. He was the Creator, the Life-Light, the Eternal Word who became flesh and blood and moved into the neighborhood. Almighty God Himself took off His robes of glory and stepped onto planet earth in the form of a helpless human baby. Why would God do such a thing? What does that tell us about who Jesus is? This miracle also points ahead to the next time he will step on earth again, this time in full glory. Will we be ready? How do we respond in wonder and worship?
