Kindness is Patient

We all recoil from someone who’s angry, who ‘flies off the handle.’  But a person of kindness stays composed under duress so the person feels safe.  The person of kindness patiently hangs in there with others when they’re not at their best, so they feel loved.   Kindness isn’t in a hurry so the other person doesn’t feel pressured.  Kindness is “long-suffering.”  It is willing to go the distance for the other person.  Who are the patient people in your life that you are thankful for?   Where is it difficult for you to wait for others?
