Preparing a place

Jesus is preparing a place for his people in heaven. This is a place free of pain, loss, and sin. It is

a place where we live in the presence of God Almighty with great joy and a deep love for him

and for others. It was so important for us to know about this place that, with less than 24 hours

to live, Jesus tells his disciples of their future and hope in him, and therefore, us. ‘I go to

prepare a place for you.’ What a statement of reassurance for all of us. It was through Jesus’

death and resurrection that we now have living hope, for our lives on earth and for our eternal

life with him.
