Surrendering in Jesus

The central message of the Palm Sunday parade is that Jesus is King, and we are to surrender to him. At the heart of surrender is the issue of control. Are we willing to relinquish control of our lives and the lives of the people we love to King Jesus? Following Jesus means we are willing to pray, “May your will be done,” to surrender totally. Here’s the paradox, only when we die to our own self-centeredness, will we really begin to live. Are you ready to start living?
