Honor Thy Mother

Parents aren’t perfect. Most do the best they can. We live in a culture that is quick to point the finger of blame which quickly divides families into who’s good and who’s not. You however, as a follower of Jesus, are called to walk a higher path, and to honor your (imperfect) mother (and father). You honor them by showing respect, forgiving their shortcomings, and as they grow older, by attending to their care. One of the best ways to honor your mother is by living a life of honor that glorifies God and demonstrates a healthy love for her.
