Listening to the Father

On one hand, the Bible is God speaking through many different authors, so by listening to them we are hearing the Father. However, in this Matthew text there are two occasions when the Father’s voice breaks into the narrative and speaks about who Jesus is. What are those two occasions? What did the Father say? How is that significant to our understanding of who Jesus is? Who is Jesus to you?
